Why this website?

I started collecting minerals at a relatively young age (12); It was the beginning of a lot of fun and amazement.

I want the young ones today to experience the same wonders minerals have to offer.

So I finally decided to set up a website which will be accessable to everyone with no other meaning than to provide information about (my) minerals in general with text and images.
